In reply to the discussion: Trump appears to be malfunctioning in latest post [View all]ShazzieB
(16,587 posts)I think the professional psychiatrists and psychologists who are saying he is showing signs of this need to be listened to.
No, you can't "diagnose" someone without personally examining them, but a knowledgeable expert can sure as hell spot signs that indicate a need for a formal workup, and multiple qualified health care professionals have done so.
I know some will pooh-pooh this post, but I really don't care. Whsn I look at Trump, I see a man whose cognitive faculties are deteriorating at an alarming rate, and a major political party that is getting ready to try to gaslight the country into believing that he's fit to be president.
He's obviously EXTREMELY unfit, and he would be unfit, even without the crimes and the fraud and all the rest of it. He is non compos mentis, "not of sound mind."
I believe the RNC bloody well knows this, and even considering making him their nominee is unconscionable on their part. I'm pretty sure they're going to do just that, though, if they can somehow manage to conceal how messed up he is mentally. Fortunately, they may not be able to do that for much longer, at the rate he's deteriorating.
I'm sure some will disagree with this post, and that's fine with me. I don't need anyone to agree with me, because I have the evidence of my own eyes and ears plus what a boatload of experts are saying. I will just close with this statement: I believe the RNC are in the process of knowingly trying to put a severely and progressively mentally unsound man in the White House, and they should be ASHAMED of themselves.
