A little common sense goes a long way.

For it to be a successful attack they would not have done it at 1 PM, when there was very little traffic. It would have been executed at the peak of rush hour, for maximum impact. A terror group would have taken credit by now.

The crew would not have warned people or tried to stop the ship. When they lost power, they dropped the anchor to try and slow it down. If this was a terror attack, they wouldn't do that. Commercial ships are not as computerized as military ships. Hacking a computer to guide the ship into the bridge, uh, no.
