Autocratic government plus a dog-eat-dog financial framework make for a society where the masses serve the few.

There was plenty to dislike about the old communist regime, but calling China “communist” is about like calling Republicans the “party of Lincoln.”

Most Republicans know better, but they also know it’s a propaganda tactic that still works on much of their base.
