Pregnancy can initiate abuse in a relationship that was not violent beforehand.
Just what
the
hell?!
And murder is the leading cause of death for pregnant and postpartum women in the United States?

Pregnancy is a high risk time for women. It can trigger or increased partner abuse and violence.
