1. I agree with your point about election being too long. I kind of like how UK did it in 6 weeks.

There is no reasons why ours last over a year, other than to give views to cable news and money for advertisers.

However, I still don't like what happened. We have primaries for a reason. We shouldn't abandon our nominee because of polling (if it is true). I still think the time to do all of that was during primary, not after it.
