I'm from Kentucky and I see the governor up close and personal. He checks all the boxes except for being in a swing state, so I get it why she won't choose him.

But boy, Gov. Beshear is a political knife fighter. Don't let Andy's nice guy/choir boy act fool you. He's about as cunning and cutthroat of a politician you'll ever find. He's pretty ruthless with a smile on his face. There's a reason why he torpedoes Republicans in this state. His father taught him well. He's a MASTER politician. He would be perfect for Harris if not for the swing state stuff.

He won in counties in eastern Kentucky that voted 70% for Trump. He has a silver tongue.
