And in a way, outrage is the same.
It's very hard to be as outraged as a typical Republican; it will take all your energy and is more likely to distract you and cause you to alienate the people you need to reach than do any fucking good whatsoever. Our opponents have been outraged by every change since Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown, they are highly practiced. As the saying goes, a clitoris has 10,000 nerve endings and it's *still* not as sensitive as a male Republican.
