One more click might add to the number of users/viewers that Elmo uses when he sells advertising, but how much will all DU members clicks add to Elmo's revenue? 0.0000000000001 cent? Maybe. IE, nothing.

On the other hand, verified X accounts earn money & get a payment every month based on their engagement. The more engagement with their posts, the more they get paid.

So, when someone posts a link to an X post by a Democratic ally & you click on that link & interact with their post you are increasing their engagement & increasing how much they will be paid (by X) for that month. You are taking money OUT of Elon's pocket & putting it INTO the pocket of our Democratic allies. Isn't that what we all want?

Yet some folks say that's "supporting Musk"???
