...from trump's presence in the national spotlight.

Similar to the trauma caused by a toxic person within a family or a workplace, his constant acting out has definitely caused a lot of damage to a lot of us, and hopefully we can begin healing once he's removed from our lives, but the road back to a peaceful, healthy national home-life will be a long one.
