One of my problems with that segment on Ari’s show was that they didn’t make comparisons that might have changed the takeaways. As another example, polls suggest that 73% of black men said they support Harris. He and his guest correctly noted that this is far higher than the percent of white men, etc. However, his guest then went too far, to chastise Obama for calling out SOME black men for not supporting Harris. But Obama saw that (a) in his own conversations he saw a reluctance to support her and (b) in 2020, 87% of black men supported Biden. He was questioning what is happening with that ~ 10-15% of black men’s support, especially now that TFG is even less capable and more dangerous.
