Just another "hail mary" pass by the public that *maybe* he might be able to fix the economy with the same failed Bush policies that got us into the mess in the first place? I know that it's, unfortunately, entirely possible and that voters can be illogical (see 1994, 2004, 2010) but would that really work out for the Repubs? And if he gets in and he and the GOP Tea Party can't fix things (we know how much they already suck at governing), well, then what? 
Voting for the Republicans- any of them- in November would be pretty much throwing up our hands and throwing in the towel for this country IMHO. I know that there's still people still able and willing to pull the levers for them b/c they believe Fox News and hate radio and hate Obama and Democrats so much but still...............
