3. Precisely, which church, yours or mine?

Maybe the Catholic bishops can run things in Italy where a large percentage of the population is Catholic. But only about 24% of Americans are Catholic and of them very few agree with the Church's stance on birth control so why should Catholics be able to change the law?

I believe that the health care reform act made some sort of alternative or exception for Christian Science members, so why not have Catholic individuals request an exception for themselves?
