I don't see this as "Paula Deen is being crucified for using the 'n-word,'" I see it as "enough is enough."

The irony of ironies is that Smithfield dropped her. She ducked the controversy over labor conditions, claiming that no one at Smithfield told her anything was wrong. Of course, she didn;t talk to the workers, she talked to the CEO, and I'm sure he had no complaints.

This is a matter of Paula Deen sucking as a human being.

She got voted off the island. Should have happened long ago. And, yes, I do not acknowledge her as a "real chef." DUers who know me know that I not only have a love affair with food photography ("food porn&quot , but I also fancy myself to be pretty capable in the kitchen. I've never prepared a Paula Deen recipe and never would.
