Literally. I've been the target of discrimination because people assumed I was gay. Funny enough, that pretty much stopped as being gay became increasingly acceptable.
I've also seen the level of general freedom increase as the LBGTQI community gains ground. It's good for all of us, and we should all continue to fight for it.
