47. How about a red district of a blue state?
Mon Jul 1, 2013, 03:56 AM
Jul 2013

CA is blue, but Buck McKeon's district is red.

I recently was redistricted out of McKeon's area--though I haven't moved anywhere. So I now have a different GOP Rep. because they moved the line a few blocks. Whoop-de-do.

When I drove back here after volunteering for the Kerry campaign in Ohio, a woman took note of the Kerry placards on my car and said, "So you're the other Democrat in the Valley."

I have a lot of conservative friends here, but also some liberal ones--including some who tell me, "I'm so glad you're here!" We may be the minority, but we tend to support and reinforce each other.

It sucks. Really sucks. Buzz Clik Jun 2013 #1
