The Florida "Stand your Ground" statute(s) explicitly say(s) that a claim of self-defense makes the claimant "immune from prosecution." It's insane. It's as if he had diplomatic immunity. I can't imagine such a law ... and doubt those of us with (cough) darker complexions are afforded such treatment under that verkachte law.
This tragedy makes me (literally) sick to my stomach... like feelings I remember so well from times past.
