First, the lack of concern for the rights of our fellow Americans is sad. Basing this lack of concern on their race and politics is even sadder.
Second, it was a small number of protestors, not some local mob. Things have escalated because the authorities were not happy with the way things were going.
Third, since when do we agree with intimidation and abuse as a reaction because somebody in the future would have done that anyway?
