1. they started that in my town a long time ago.

I remember when a small neighbor came back crying. that is when I started an easter egg hunt in my back yard. the girls loved it so much, they skipped the town one. It did take them a long time because I had eggs with clues and at the end the got one big prize, but no candy. They were mini ice skaters and they were not allowed candy. usually something like a hula hoop or beanie baby. I did it by making them find the egggs in order - each egg had a clue in it to where the egg was - sometimes in their yard, sometimes in mine
