Why would US Marines be in Nigeria anyway?
Army Rangers, Army Green Berets or Navy Seals I'd believe but not US Marines. The Marines arent known for special ops/hostage rescue although I'm sure they do it.
OTOH if there is any credibility to this (which I highly doubt) they could mean the Royal Marines
