Look up plantain. It is a beneficial "weed". The sap from it stops the itching Fromm insect bites. Been using it for decades. I make a poultice of it with olive oil using it for all sorts of rashes and the like. As stated, we just kill stuff. We have no regard of its usefulness.

That's just one. Google yarrow, another backyard pest plant. Simply amazing. Used this for decades also. Always keep it on hand. Harvest yearly.
