Furthermore, there is evidence that there have been ongoing problems with this PD. Remember the guy who made the mistake of pulling off into Ferguson, was arrested for a crime he did not commit, wast beaten by 4 Ferguson cops who then charged him with defacing public property (he bled on their uniforms) and then got caught committing perjury? Consider the fact that over 24,000 arrest warrants was issued in 2013 which is a rate of a little over 65 arrest warrants a day (2.7/hour). That to me smacks of a PD at war with the citizens that they care charged to serve and protect. Remember that court costs and fees are high income for this city (2nd largest source of income). When you look at the behavior of the cops in front of the media, imagine what they are like when the media is not there.

The behavior of the local PD and Prosecutor comes across of doing everything they can to throw the case and give the shooter every advantage. If the shooter was not a cop, he would have been locked up and charged a long time ago. Remember, the Prosecutor refused to charge the cops that shot and killed 2 unarmed black men sitting in their car, categorizing them as scum anyway. With his personal family baggage the guy has no right to be a Prosecutor because he has no objectivity or ability to set his personal prejudices aside. That was pretty obvious when you consider that he took the side of the over militarized police when the Governor ordered them to stand down.

Feguson PD is definitely in need of a thorough investigation and cleaned out if necessary. The Police Chief for sure needs to go for gross incompetence.
