8. I have to think that the truth will prevail...

I should find it almost unimaginable that this former cop would do such a thing (but in today's society, I'm far more jaded than that)... Still, to resort to the tactics he clearly is-- to try to blame the victims--while enlisting friends and family to promote such lies-- shows the monster he has become. It sounds like no one is buying it, but just having such ugly lies "out there" on social media and elsewhere has to be infuriating. Your editorials are very well written and will have impact.

I hope that your cousin can move past this horrendous tragedy with the support of friends, family, and health care professionals. I can not even imagine the horror of that day for him.

Let the anger motivate you, but please don't let it destroy you.
