(17,003 posts)Disturbing the Peace or Disorderly Conduct have general guidelies that are fairly uniform and generic. They are situational, of course -- how could they not be. I provided you some wording of one that I found from Google right away, yet you couldn't. They are all fairly similar. If you want to provoke a confrontation by using racial slurs, you could be charged with Disorderly Conduct or Disturbing the Peace, among other things.
Again, I have to laugh that you think a cop can't charge you for using racial slurs or for anything they please. That is, if the cop has animus towards you, which the Ferguson/St. Louis/Missouri cops have shown towards the protestors. If they had that same animus towards those protesting with racial slurs, they could harass them -- but they didn't. That's the point.
