245. It makes it difficult to carry on any rational conversation

If I hear someone tell me again that all liberals "worship" Obama or view him as the "The Messiah," based upon the general swooning of the apologencia, I'm gonna hurl. I don't "worship" anyone, quite frankly, and certainly not the President. It does not of any favors to turn a blind eye to the things we believe Obama has done wrong all in the name of party unity. Remember, that's why we couldn't stand righties under BushCo. I'd prefer to prove myself better than that, not just this year's shiny new model.

BTW, I was on that jury, and was actually surprised at the 0-7 result. I would have guessed it to go the other way, with me being one of the outliers to leave it. Re-affirms my faith that DUers, for the most part, are pretty reasonable people who understand the complexities of politics, and are not just lock-step Fox-Watching boot lickers.
