Courtesy Flush made a good point early in this thread. If you discount nature "accomplishments" that a state has nothing to do with, then add related "accomplishments" (like 'most wind power' in Texas, mainly because of the size & climate), you only get about 10 states with real accomplishments. Colorado is an example.
