Comicon day 1, for those who have an interest in popular culture. [View all]
July 9, 2015 (San Diego) Comicon can cause full sensory overload. People in costumes, people having fun, sounds, and sights. Downtown does transform into a place where you can find yourself immersed in multiple fantasies at the same time. It starts before you reach the Gaslamp Quarter, when you board a train that has covers with whatever the studios are promoting. We rode a train covered in the Muppets.
The lines this morning, at least to get into the convention hall, were not that bad. They were outside, even for events going on not until tomorrow. This is one of those surprises about Comicon, just how long people are willing to wait to see something they absolutely want to see.

Since quite a bit is in a gallery, cannot do this.
We will be putting together galleries every day we go. There is a chance we will not be able to tomorrow though.
