YOU must also be familiar with what most DUers learned, from his own admissions, about this poster, since you TOO made the same assumption, that it was not sincere.

I'm far from being a heroic champion. Would never, eg, have had the courage Will Pitt had when he publicly took on the Bush War Criminals, going so far as to write a book about the lies they told.

I was satisfied to just quietly discuss what we all knew, with other like-minded people in what seemed to be a safer setting.

What was MM doing back then? I didn't do much but at least I was on the side of those who were appalled by they liars and war criminals rather than cavorting with the 'enemy'.

Put it this way, I would rather be wrong but retain the ability to empathize with other human beings by erring on the side of compassion absent any other knowledge that the poster has a record of deception.

Which is definitely NOT the case with WP who has the opposite problem if anything, of being TOO blunt, which btw, I prefer to sneaky, passive aggressive behavior.
