7. I've read a long time ago (maybe 30+ years?) that all the oil reserves in the world put together

would last us about 100 years, at the rate we were using oil at that time. Once gone, oil is
gone forever. The same applies to gas and coal. We would have to switch to solar and wind
energy anyway, whether we like it or not. It is for our benefit, since there is no pollution
from them whatsoever.

It's only Big Oil that's putting up all the obstacles. They don't give a damn how they
pollute the earth, as long as it's bringing them huge profits. They could invest in solar
and wind energy, but I suppose the profits there will not be as big as in oil, gas and coal
-- since there is no fuel involved at all.
