(3,845 posts)24. Abstain. Obama should begin faithfully executing the laws, with or without replacement of Holder.
I don't care whether he does so by directing AG Holder to do it or by replacing him with someone else. We don't know from whom (the President or the AG) the hands-off, look forward policy originated but, since the President explained and justified it to the American people, he owns it and it's up to him to reverse it. My suspicion is that Holder is just doing what the President has directed him to (maybe in an indirect way... wink, nod... for plausible deniability purposes). If it works better to keep Holder and begin applying the law then that's fine. If they need some excuse to begin applying the law, like a new face, then that's fine too. They (meaning the President mainly) just need to start applying the law.
