May 2016

I was taking my dog down a path to the lake a few months ago and there, at the water's edge, laid a poor dead deer with a bow in its neck. It shook me. It could have been one of the ones I had fed.

My neighbors reported me for feeding them.

My mother's neighbor bow hunts but they are truly on hard times and eat the deer the son kills. That's more acceptable to me.

Hope you see your hummingbird soon.

As usual, a great OS post. longship May 2016 #1
