The media will put any wild ass guess on the air claiming an iron-clad source. It may be days, even weeks, before we get an accurate story. Anyone can post to Twitter and claim anything. A lot of people with a lot of guns in Texas.

People are hungry for news and frightened, and the media is perfectly willing to scare people with rumor, innuendo, and flat out fabrication.
