(6,496 posts)Some of them are nice people, they are just really bad at analyzing these elections. There are a lot of skills that go into it. We don't have classes on how to analyze the media and how to make voting decisions that are in your own best interest in k - 12 schools so I can see why people suck at these sort of decisions. I think classes like this would help, but we'd have to be careful how to do it. Politics is like religion for a lot of people and they what to indoctrinate their kids on who to vote for just like they want them to believe in the same religion as them (they all want mini-mes). Parents won't like any class that they think might help sway their kid from their team. Seems college would be the only place such a class could exist because what the parents think no longer matters. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't go to college.
