you can click on your insurance coverage. If it's any type of government-funded insurance, then you are INELIGIBLE for the coupon.

As for Medicare Part D, your coverage can vary depending on what plan you buy. Many Part D plans would have the Epi-Pen as at least a Tier 3, which means a much higher co-pay. Here's the really sticky part for Medicare: The whole cost of the Epi-Pen counts toward the "Doughnut Hole". Once you get into the Doughnut Hole, you pay approx 50% of the cost of the drug until you "spend yourself out". In this instance, that would be $300------AND Medicare users are exclude from using the Mylan Coupon.

Sad but oh, so true. The whole stupid Doughnut Hole thing exists because of George W. Bush----another curse he put upon our country.

Thanks to President Obama and the Affordable Care Act, the Doughnut Hole will be phased out by 2020. In the meantime, we must deal with this travesty.
