(38,311 posts)10. I clearly remember climbing on one in a public park as a kid.
The same park had an old railroad steam engine and a fire truck.
That was back when dangerous playground equipment was normal.
A kid could fall off of any of those things and break a bone and nobody got sued, it was just life.
Anyways, there was enough of them that I'm sure many ended up in similar circumstances.
