Trump and Pence are two guys who live in worlds where the needs of others are just a flickering annoyance. Trump is interested in profit, in fattening his wallet, in gaming the system for his own personal financial gain. I haven't been able to detect any reverence in him. He smears women and minorities at every turn. His public speech is fractal, just bigotry blurted out without thought. He cheats the rules.

Pence looks smooth but there's a very rough bigotry to him, too. He's a self-described born-again fundamentalist and accordingly, has vigorously opposed most progressive social issues. He's apparently more able to understand complex social issues than Trump, but ignores science and medicine and pushes a far-right agenda at every turn. He's way to the right of most U.S. Americans on social issues.

Joe Biden would demolish either of these guys in a debate.
