(5,611 posts)State laws like this will be challenged and will end up at the Supreme Court eventually -- likely after Trump has installed an arch-conservative in Scalia's place. This will give them the chance to overturn Roe v. Wade and "return it to the states" as Trump has stated. I think that many of the idiots that voted for Trump have no idea what they are truly in for with Trump -- abortion has been legal for decades and many people can't even imagine what things were like before that was the case.
Erratic state laws -- in some states it will be legal and in some illegal -- will result in much confusion and suffering -- imagine the case of a woman who is having a miscarriage and need emergency medical care that involves say a D&C to stop bleeding to death -- a state law like this will possibly result in death for the woman. And of course, deaths resulting from "home" abortions.
