House leaders are readying their agenda for the next Congress, and they are already talking about dramatic changes to Medicare. I won't mince words: harmful benefit cuts are a real possibility.

We won't stand for it, now is the time to start making that crystal clear to our members of Congress. We've set a goal of 100,000 people speaking out right now – will you be one? Tell your representative that you won't stand for harmful cuts.

Tell your representative: Protect our Medicare Benefits

Medicare isn't just a line on a budget balance sheet – it's a lifeline for the tens of millions of Americans who rely on it to afford health care and make ends meet.

That's why I'm concerned to read that some in Congress are considering making dramatic changes to the program, including harmful benefit cuts that could overwhelm older Americans in communities across the country.

We’ve worked hard for our benefits, and it’s simply not right to cut them and take away what we’ve earned.

I am asking you to keep Medicare's promise to the American people, and oppose any bill which would cut Medicare benefits or put your benefits at greater risk.

Thank you.

protecting the benefits that seniors have been promised is not a partisan issue. Over 50 million Americans rely on Medicare, and in these uncertain times they need to know that it will be there for them when they need it. That's why we need you to speak out today: Tell the House to oppose ANY cuts to Medicare.

Thanks for making your voice heard at this important moment. It's going to take all of us speaking out to make sure Congress gets the message, so take a minute to share this with your friends and family too. I'm so glad to have you with us as we fight to protect the benefits so many are counting on.

Sincerely,

Fred Griesbach
