4. Exactly why 'identity' is so awful.

The rightwing loves identity politics and identity governance.

They segregated us by what we were before the civil rights movement and they would love to do it again.

And the Identity Politics of the left plays right into their hands.
It all becomes what you are instead of who you are.

Liberals and progressives need to renew their commitment to Martin Luther King's admonition: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Goods jobs, a living wage, affordable health care, for EVERYONE!

Or else we will stay divided ... just what the radical reactionary Republicans want.
