23. Snarking about Panera is odd to me -- they are trying

Feb 2017

A few years ago, they started phasing in natural, organic, locally-sourced food, and phasing out the opposite. Some people have complained because their menu has gotten smaller and a teeny bit more expensive. They are educating their customers, and also marketing themselves to bring in more customers who, like me, rarely eat out, but when I do, I will go to a healthyish fast-casual place like Panera.

My nephew worked PT for them while in college, and was treated okay. He liked the working conditions better than Starbucks.

I hate their commercials...the "clean food coming soon" ones JenniferJuniper Feb 2017 #1
