73. I don't intend to retire for now

If I were counting the days until I had to retire, I would be like a condemned prisoner in a cell crossing off the days until the execution. It makes a huge difference if you enjoy your job or not. Working always in the same place for decades in a row HAS to be different from being in Paris, Barcelona, Geneva, Brussels and Munich all in the same week. Not every week is THAT crazy for me, but over half of them are. Plus I work with local friends in every one of those cities, and speak every one of the local languages. It's not a typical situation.
