(21,130 posts)76. I've been here since 2001, too. I've considered myself a Democrat since 1976.
I'm with you on DU, and I am with you on the need to get back to where we were pre-Reagan as a party--when we stood for and fought for progressive goals.
It saddens me to see the same crowd who screamed "We don't need you! Go away! We can do it without you!" last summer and fall are now the ones hell-bent on blaming those that took their advice (as well as those of us that knew better and didn't) for the election loss in 2016.
