I didn't even mind the huge belt from the other day.

I'm wondering if this a Slovenic inspired outfit? It does look like a widow's outfit. Look at the heavy lace on the dress and the high button collar. The mantilla is interesting too. Compare this to Ivanka who wore a lightweight veil, pearls and simpler style. Melania could have worn a more modern style and still kept protocol.
