37. Do Miranda Rights prevent somebody from being prosecuted or something?

The way Republicans talk about basic Miranda rights, you'd think that scores of obviously guilty criminals are getting off scot-free because of them (which obviously isn't happening). We've been prosecuting terrorists, Muslim-born or otherwise, for decades now without any problems. We've housed terrorists in Federal Prisons here in the US for decades now without any problems. How did 9/11 change anything so dramatically that we have to offshore terror suspects and deprive them of due process?
