(6,324 posts)Dates on intial EXIF data dont prove anything except the date that was programmed into the cameras internal processor when a photo was taken. Citing a date discrepancy as somehow being proof without a doubt someone lied is a totally idiotic claim. I bet 90% of the photos I took with my digital cameras had the date/time off because I never have a damm about setting the date in the camera.
Furthermore, if you Google EXIF data editor you can find hundreds of programs and apps that let you change the EXIF data. I can screenshot your post and change the data right now to say this post was made a week before the allegations came to light and then use that to say its a conspiracy started on DU to plant this story but then attack it to discredit Tweeden based on EXIF date data on the screenshot and it would be just as idiotic a claim as your claim that the EXIF data proves she is lying.
Lastly- the claim about USAF Combat Camera. You or whoever you mindlessly copied that from has no clue who/what Combat Camera is or does, so any claims to know what kind of cameras they use have no legitimacy. Combat Camera teams photograph combat operations. They dont photograph USO tours. Public Affairs units do photography at things like USO tours. If you tell a Combat Camera team they photograph things like USO tours they actually get downright offended and angry because people often dont understand the difference and they see themselves as much more elite than Public Affairs. Anyone who supposedly knows enough to say what kind of camera they use wouldnt make that mistake, so there is zero credibility left on that claim.
