Sarah did her big switch once she was out on the national stage, as she had been quite centrist and bipartisan as governor which is why she had such a high approval rating in the state. Once we saw what she was really like, she could never regain that popularity when she got back here, and she couldn't handle the criticism. Lindsey is going to find out that the Democrats who elected her feel betrayed and the Republicans are just using her. I don't think she'll be able to handle that over the long run.
