I've been a member of DU since about 3 weeks after Sept. 11 As Skinner said, first place in the morning, on and off to check headlines through the day, last stop at night.

I was with my grand kids today when I read Skinner moving on. I really had to hold back tears. I know D.U. has been around a long time, but I didn't realize it was almost a third of my life. Being able to come to this site has been a comfort to me, for everything from politics to the death of my husband.

I wish Skinner good luck as you and Elad move us forward. And I wish you good luck as you carry onI don't think I'm alone saying that DU is not just a lifeline for us, but an IV for our country.

I'll watch for the fund raiser and be glad to kick in on it.
