But I can't see Hastert, or anyone, paying 3.5 mil for something that was simply a termination of employment offense. Now sexual relations with a minor...yeah that I can see him paying up for all these years later because that type of misconduct, while not prosecutable any more, would have meant (and now is) his political and social death.
