Young ladies can be so naive and laugh off the message about predators who are out there just waiting for them to be vulnerable. I've warned my beautiful niece about being 18 and alone on campus or after work and not trusting strangers. I think the agent is doing his job and what they have pieced together is more than likely what generally happened. Wouldn't be the first time such inhumane acts occurred. And, of course, my niece laughs me off and says I'm paranoid.

I even told her how my best friend was raped & murdered in my senior year and how awful it was to go through that. They finally caught the guy eons later who was trying to do the same to another woman. This had no effect on her, which frustrates me.

I'm sorry for the family to lose their daughter! Such pain they must deal with.
