(58,785 posts)12. Well, we can't afford California's Democratic Party
being dragged down by the incompetence, inexperience, and intolerant divisiveness so common to the far left (and right), so let's hope some of these guys are good, mainstream progressives, that those have a short learning curve, and that there's a strong, sensible leader among them.
Also huge, California Democrats have been overwhelmingly powerful in late years because of California Hispanics. I'm afraid of what will happen if they are not well represented among this incoming group, which frankly seems unlikely. Afraid for 2018.
