18. Trumpy doesn't CARE how the system works, or is supposed to work.

Trumpy sees himself as a Duterte, as a Putin. He runs the show no matter what the legal structure dictates. He wants to execute HIS desires without regard to anyone or anything else. AND, he has the full support of the GOP. They let him play dictator. The problem for the GOP is that Trumpy is using them for his own convenience. He'll turn on the GOP at the first sign of their resistance. Trumpy has his base of true-believing fascists who will pressure the GOP from below. He'll go with them.
